A soft, roomy surgical cap in single-layer pure cotton canvas, printed all over with white cartoon cats. The warm butter yellow ground is scattered with cats in pink bows, some holding teddy bears, some peeking from terracotta flowerpots and green cacti, alongside pastries on small white plates, sparkles, daisies and handwriting-style script in muted brown. Tightly woven cotton gives it a matte, low-sheen surface, a fine even grain and a crisp drape that falls in gentle rounded folds.

The cap is loose and roomy, sitting fully over the hairline with the elastic casing at the rear pulled in for a secure fit. The lace band along the brim is narrow, about 0.4 in (1 cm) wide, roughly a fingernail deep against the canvas.
