A closer look
Natural crystal planter ornament presented as a mineral display arranged in a footed bowl. The container is a round, shallow vessel measuring 11 cm in diameter, mounted on a slender vertical pedestal stem that rises from a flat, circular weighted base, giving the piece the silhouette of a stemmed goblet or compote dish. The bowl and stem share a polished, brushed-silver metallic finish with fine concentric grain lines running around the rim and radial grain lines across the base, reflecting a cool blue-white highlight band along the bowl's outer curve and softer streaked reflections on the base plate.
Set into the bowl are three faceted crystal points and one polished sphere, resting in a bed of small, crushed, translucent-to-white mineral chips and tiny pale lilac decorative flower fragments. The tallest element is a clear quartz point, faceted with a hexagonal column and a sharply defined pyramidal termination, colorless and highly transparent with internal veils, tiny fissures, and faint reflective planes that catch the light along its edges. Beside it stands a citrine point in a warm lemon-yellow to olive-gold shade, translucent with dense internal fracture veils, silvery flash lines, and a subtle rainbow iridescence visible where light refracts through a cleavage plane. The amethyst point shows a violet to deep purple color zoning, more saturated toward the tip and paler at the base, with cloudy white internal wisps and a polished, mirror-like facet reflecting a bright specular patch.
The fourth component is a clear quartz rolling ball, a near-perfect polished sphere that is colorless and glassy, with visible internal fractures and a small surface-reaching crack line, resting at the right front of the arrangement and refracting the surrounding colors into a compact caustic highlight. Its measured mass is 18.7 grams. The amethyst point weighs 53.3 grams, the citrine point 66.2 grams, and the clear quartz point 71.0 grams, each read individually on a digital scale set to grams.
The mineral points are cut with clean, symmetric faceting: flat prismatic sides, sharply chamfered edges meeting the pyramidal crown, and flat-cut bases that allow them to stand upright. The citrine point shows the most inclusion-rich interior, with a rough, almost bark-like internal texture beneath its polished faces, while the clear quartz point is the most optically clean of the three, and the amethyst displays the most pronounced color banding and internal clouding.
Accompanying the crystals are decorative botanical elements: slender green needle-like sprigs resembling rosemary or lavender foliage, a tall pale fern frond with fine pinnate leaflets, a purple-tinted fern frond, a stem of small violet-blue clustered blossoms, and scattered tiny pink-lilac dried flower heads, all arranged to form a compact, upright floral crown around the crystals.
The overall composition balances the three taller, cool-toned points against the warm yellow citrine and the rounded clear sphere, with the crushed white chip layer providing a bright, high-key base that unifies the palette of violet, gold, silver-grey and green.
