A closer look
This is a hand-assembled crystal landscape arrangement presented in a matte black ceramic planter bowl with a rounded pedestal stem base. The composition is anchored by a large amethyst geode slab standing upright at the rear center, its front face densely crystallized with small druse points in shades of deep violet, lilac and pale lavender, with a whitish calcite-like quartz seam running diagonally across the crystal field and a thin band of white to gray matrix visible along the outer rim and base edge. The geode slab is the single heaviest element documented, registering 730.5 grams on a digital scale, and a measuring tape held against its face indicates a height of approximately 10 centimeters from base to the rounded top, giving a broad oval silhouette that is slightly wider than tall.
In front of the geode sits a natural Himalayan white quartz cluster, composed of numerous interlocking transparent to translucent hexagonal prismatic points with well-formed terminations, varying from clear glassy tips to milky and pale champagne-toned bodies, with small reddish-brown mineral inclusions and a rough, uneven white to beige base where the points attach to their natural matrix. This quartz cluster was weighed at 67.9 grams, and its points project upward in a fan-like spray so that the tallest prisms overlap the lower portion of the amethyst geode face, creating layered depth within the bowl.
To the right of the quartz cluster rests a natural amethyst crystal point, a single terminated prism with deep purple saturation concentrated in the upper body and fading through violet to smoky gray and milky white toward the base, where rough matrix and small reddish-brown inclusions are visible. The crystal exhibits glassy vitreous luster on its facets, faint internal fractures and growth striations across the prism faces, and an irregular, chipped edge on one side. This amethyst point registers 81.8 grams on the scale, and its hand-held scale view confirms a chunky, palm-sized form with a broad base tapering to a sharp, multi-faceted termination.
The surface of the ceramic planter is uniformly matte with no visible gloss, printing or ornamentation, presenting a solid black finish that contrasts with the luminous purple and clear quartz of the stones. The bowl has a wide shallow opening with a gently flared rim and smooth rounded lip, supported by a short
