This is a handcrafted ring-bound leather planner cover designed for pocket-size loose-leaf inserts. The exterior shell is crafted from Alaska leather in a warm golden yellow tone, displaying a naturally mottled, sun-aged color variation that shifts between deeper mustard hues and lighter honey highlights across the surface. The leather shows a fine, irregular natural grain with subtle creasing and gentle tonal depth, giving the piece a lived-in, organic character, and small variations in the surface finish reflect its handmade nature.
The cover is constructed as a rounded-corner rectangle with cleanly defined edges finished in a warm tan burnished treatment that frames both the yellow outer panel and the sky blue inner lining. A continuous line of saddle stitching in a pale cream thread runs parallel to every outer edge with even, closely spaced stitches, the thread sitting slightly recessed into the leather for a hand-sewn appearance. The stitching traces the entire perimeter of both the front and back panels and continues around the small leather closure tab, which is cut as a rounded rectangle and stitched in the same contrasting pale thread against its sky blue face.
The interior is lined in Alaska leather dyed a bright sky blue, matching the leather used on the strap tab, so the yellow exterior and blue interior form a deliberate two-tone contrast visible along the exposed edges when the cover is closed. The inside layout includes stitched card-sized slip pockets with rounded lower corners on the left panel, a vertical elastic or stitched pen loop beside the ring spine, and a larger rounded-corner slip pocket on the right panel. All interior pockets are outlined with the same pale saddle stitching, and the leather here carries a soft pebbled grain texture with a slightly matte, velvety surface.
At the center of the spine sits a silver-toned six-ring binder mechanism with a screw-type opening lever at each end, specified at a 20 mm ring diameter for holding loose-leaf paper. The polished metal hardware provides a cool, reflective counterpoint to the soft leather surfaces. The cover is made to accommodate 67 mm-wide inner pages, sized for an edge-to-edge fit so the paper sits flush within the leather border rather than recessed inward.
An elastic closing band is included with the cover: a flat, cream-white woven elastic loop threaded around the exterior, finished with a small sky blue Alaska leather tab folded over and secured with pale saddle stitching to serve as a grip and decorative accent. The set is also shown with a stack of grid-ruled loose-leaf pages punched with six holes along the binding edge, sized to the 67 mm page width that the cover and 20 mm silver rings are built to hold.
