This handmade ring binder notebook cover is cut from mist-waxed vegetable-tanned full-grain cowhide in a deep red. The finish leaves a matte, velvety surface, with cloudy crimson and burgundy tones lifted by lighter dusty rose highlights. Its mottled, patina-like look comes from the waxed hide itself, so each cover reads a little differently.
