Art movement: Gothic

This decorative art piece blends botanical and anatomical motifs into a single striking display. A preserved rose in deep crimson, with darker maroon and brownish tones on its naturally curled outer petals, sits atop a stem sculpted to resemble a vertebrate spinal column. The off-white, matte stem shows detailed vertebrae, creating a gothic contrast against the organic flower.

The entire assembly is housed under a clear glass cloche with a smooth, glossy surface, resting on a circular matte black base. A small metal nameplate holder with vintage scrollwork is affixed to the front of the base. This piece measures 10 centimeters in diameter and 30 centimeters in height, making it a compact yet commanding object for a shelf or cabinet.

Key features:
- Deep crimson preserved rose with natural petal texture
- Skeletal stem with detailed vertebral structure
- Clear glass dome on a matte black base

- Part of a curiosity or oddities collection

VeritasMementoQUBZI Artisan

A creator of hauntingly beautiful decorative pieces, this artisan merges the elegance of natural history with a dark, gothic aesthetic. Each work is meticulously crafted, transforming brass, bone-finish metals, and preserved botanical and zoological specimens into sculptural lighting and display art. The collection features skeletal jellyfish lamps, mechanical bone fixtures with brass vertebrae, and shadow boxes that frame snakes and butterflies in coffin-like settings. The style is defined by a fascination with anatomy, mortality, and the macabre, yet executed with a refined, almost delicate touch that elevates each piece into a conversation-worthy objet d'art. Ideal for collectors of the unusual, these pieces bring a sophisticated, museum-quality edge to any interior.
