Mounting type: Wall
Orientation: Vertical
Shape: Rectangular

This decorative wall clock is a shadow box diorama housed in a solid wood frame with a matte black finish and an ornate carved crest at the top. The dark, romantic composition centers on an articulated snake skeleton in a vertical S-curve, paired with a preserved blood-red butterfly, all set against a layered backdrop of metallic gothic architecture, gold foliage, and deep textured material.

The front glass pane is hinged on the left side with small metal hardware, allowing access to the interior. The piece measures 31 centimeters in height, 16.5 centimeters in width, and 6 centimeters in depth.

Key features:
- Articulated snake skeleton with visible vertebrae and rib cage
- Preserved butterfly with glossy blood-red wings and black edge markings
- Silver metallic gothic spire structure and gold foliage wreath backdrop

Type: Decorative wall clock
Dimensions: 12.2 x 6.5 x 2.4 inches (31 x 16.5 x 6 cm)
Materials: Solid wood frame, glass pane, metal hardware, natural bone, preserved insect, metallic foliage
Finish: Matte black frame, off-white bones, silver and gold metallic accents

This piece is designed for vertical display, with the skeleton and butterfly arranged to draw the eye upward. It works well as a standalone focal point on a wall or shelf, and its dark palette complements other vintage or gothic decor pieces.

Occasions:
- Adding a dramatic accent to a study or library
- Displaying in a curated collection of natural history curiosities
- Gifting to someone with an interest in gothic or dark romantic aesthetics
- Serving as a conversation piece in a living room or entryway

Care:
- Dust the frame and glass with a soft, dry cloth
- Avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading of the butterfly and background materials
- Handle the hinged glass door gently when opening or closing

VeritasMementoQUBZI Artisan

A creator of hauntingly beautiful decorative pieces, this artisan merges the elegance of natural history with a dark, gothic aesthetic. Each work is meticulously crafted, transforming brass, bone-finish metals, and preserved botanical and zoological specimens into sculptural lighting and display art. The collection features skeletal jellyfish lamps, mechanical bone fixtures with brass vertebrae, and shadow boxes that frame snakes and butterflies in coffin-like settings. The style is defined by a fascination with anatomy, mortality, and the macabre, yet executed with a refined, almost delicate touch that elevates each piece into a conversation-worthy objet d'art. Ideal for collectors of the unusual, these pieces bring a sophisticated, museum-quality edge to any interior.
