A closer look
This is an original handmade wire-wrapped pendant built around a large bare green fluorite stone. The fluorite forms a chunky, irregular teardrop-to-triangular slab with a deep forest-green body, translucent edges where light passes through, and a naturally rough, faceted crystalline surface rather than a polished one. The stone sits at the heart of the piece as a substantial focal element, and the overall pendant carries a noticeably weighty, solid feel in the hand, making it substantial enough to be worn as a bag charm as well as a hanging ornament.
The structural framework is copper wire, hand-wrapped and free-form coiled around the stone in an open, airy cage of crossing strands. The wire reads visually as a bright silver tone against the dark green stone, forming a lattice of long diagonal sweeps across the face of the fluorite plus denser knotted and woven clusters at the crown and along the sides. At the top front of the pendant the wire spirals into a flat concentric rosette, a coiled circle several turns deep, with a single red chip bead nestled at its center as a small accent. The wrapping technique is deliberately spontaneous: the wire paths were guided by feel rather than by a fixed pattern, so the wraps, crossings and loops are organic and asymmetric from every viewing angle.
Surrounding the stone is a dense, maximalist ring of small irregular chip beads in a rich, saturated color palette. The chips include bright turquoise blue, pale aqua and sky blue, translucent lime and moss green, soft lavender-purple amethyst tones, and vivid coral red, plus a few pale beige or creamy spotted pieces. Near the lower front of the pendant, two round spotted beads in white with black speckles (dalmatian-style stone) sit side by side, adding a graphic contrast to the colorful chips. A secondary strand of small brass-tone ball chain drapes diagonally across the face of the green stone and loops around one side, and a matching strand of graduated brass-tone beads hangs along the right edge, introducing a warm antique-gold metallic note against the silver-toned wire.
Accent hardware includes a silver-tone dragonfly charm attached on the reverse side of the crown, its openwork wings and segmented body rendered in fine relief and catching the light, along with small brass-tone bells and bead clusters gathered near the top of the wrap. At the very bottom, a small brass bell dangles from a wire loop, giving the piece a gentle kinetic and auditory element when it moves. The design genre is bohemian artisan talisman work with an impressionistic, garden-inspired influence: the color scheme draws on the layered, richly saturated tones of a flowering garden, deliberately busy and jewel-toned rather than minimal.
The pendant comes supplied on a brown waxed cord threaded through the wire
