This is a hand-wire-wrapped pendant built around a natural moonstone cabochon, set in a traditional Chinese ruyi lock motif with a guofeng feel. The ruyi lock outline, a long-standing emblem of safety and wishes fulfilled, is formed from symmetrical wire scrolls that fan outward like petals, with openwork gaps that keep the shape light. The translucent milky-white stone shows the shifting blue adularescent flash typical of moonstone against warm yellow-gold wire.
