A closer look
This two-in-one loose-leaf planner set consists of a larger outer binder and a smaller inner binder, both crafted from top-grain cowhide leather. The leather features a pearlescent light pink-purple ombre finish, with a shimmering, iridescent surface that shifts between soft pink and pale lilac tones. The exterior is embossed with a crocodile-scale texture, creating a glossy, tactile pattern of irregular rectangular scales with fine, recessed grooves between them. The overall aesthetic is soft, feminine, and playful, blending a luxurious material finish with whimsical animal-motif hardware.
The larger outer binder is an A6 size with a widened three-fold construction. Its closure system is an original, small-batch fish-tail clasp: a flat leather strap that wraps around the cover and terminates in a stylized fish-tail shape, secured by two small, polished gold-tone snap buttons visible on the inner flap. The edges of the leather are neatly stitched with fine, even thread in a matching pink tone, and the corners are gently rounded. The interior of this binder is lined with a smooth, matte lilac-purple material, contrasting with the glossy pink exterior. It features a gold-tone metal loose-leaf ring mechanism with a 2.5 mm ring diameter, designed to hold paper sized 148 by 105 mm. The inner panels include a transparent ID window pocket, several card slots, and a larger slip pocket, all finished with clean stitching and smooth edges.
The smaller inner binder is a B7 size with a dolphin-themed elastic band closure. A flat, woven elastic band in a soft pink shade wraps around the cover, and a leather dolphin charm, cut from the same pearlescent pink crocodile-embossed leather, is attached to the band. The dolphin charm is detailed with fine stitching along its outline and a small punched eye hole. This binder also features a gold-tone loose-leaf ring mechanism, with a 2.0 mm ring diameter, compatible with paper widths up to 88 mm. The interior is lined with the same smooth lilac-purple material and includes a simplified pocket layout with a central ring binder and side pockets.
Both binders can be used together as a nested set or separately as individual planners. The larger binder can hold the smaller one inside its expanded three-fold structure, as shown in the top-down view where both ring mechanisms and paper stacks are visible within the combined shell. The set does not include any filler paper. The leather surfaces exhibit a high-gloss, pearlescent coating that catches light along the raised scale edges, creating bright highlights and soft shadows that emphasize the three-dimensional texture. The stitching is consistent and tight throughout, and the metal hardware has a polished, reflective gold finish. The overall construction appears precise, with symmetrical proportions and clean, finished edges.
