This is a plant-dyed red handwoven homespun cloth in a warm crimson-to-rose tone with a soft, matte surface. Sappanwood dye gives the solid color field gentle mottling and subtle tonal shifts instead of a flat, uniform red. The plain weave shows clearly visible warp and weft threads, irregular slubs, and tiny darker fiber nubs for an organic, rustic-yet-refined look.
