This is a plant-dyed indigo blue handwoven cotton cloth, woven on traditional looms from hand-spun yarn in the character of classic old-style earth cloth. Its plain, even weave has a matte, non-reflective surface with visible intersecting warp and weft threads. The deep saturated indigo shifts between darker navy in the folds and lighter, dustier blue where light catches the surface.

- Plain even weave with a matte, non-reflective surface
- Hand-spun yarn showing slubs and thick-and-thin variation
- Deep plant-dyed indigo with soft tonal shading

Type: Handwoven cotton fabric
Dimensions / Size: 18–20 in (45–50 cm) wide
Thickness: 0.4–0.5 mm
Materials: Hand-spun cotton
Finish / color: Plant-dyed indigo blue, matte, non-reflective

The narrow, lightweight cloth folds and drapes softly with a gentle crinkle, and a loop of it across the palm shows how thin and pliable it is. It layers, gathers, and stitches well alongside plain linens and other natural fabrics.

Store away from direct light to help preserve the indigo shade.
Keep away from acidic and alkaline substances.
Wash with a neutral detergent; some color loss occurs in water and the dye fades gradually over time.

Handwoven on traditional looms, so small slubs, uneven threads, traces of cotton seed, and slightly frayed cut edges are natural to the cloth rather than flaws. Hand-dyeing means subtle mottling and slight shade differences from one length to another.
