This small, handcrafted journal is wrapped in genuine cowhide leather with a tumbled, pebbled texture and a warm orange-brown, matte finish. Its rustic, bohemian character comes through in the raw edges, visible hand-stitching, and a decorative closure that feels both functional and artisanal.

The cover is made from a single piece of leather folded into a wrap-around design, with a thick, light brown waxed thread binding the spine through punched holes. A dark brown cord threads through two brass-toned grommets and wraps around a circular button with a deep blue enamel background, a raised gold-toned sunburst motif, and a small orange cabochon at its center. Inside, the blank pages are smooth, cream-colored Daolin paper, neatly trimmed and fanning evenly from the spine, while the interior cover shows the suede-like, lighter brown backside of the hide.
