Item details

Material: Wood and Bamboo

This cylindrical insect enclosure pairs tiger skin golden sandalwood with bamboo, creating a warm, earthy piece that feels both functional and ornamental. The polished surfaces bring out the wood’s rich grain and the bamboo’s even tone, while the slim profile makes it easy to hold and admire.

Key features:
- Vertical bamboo strips spaced for visibility and airflow
- Removable top cap for easy access inside
- Recessed central section between wider wooden ends

Type: Insect enclosure
Dimensions: 85 mm tall; top lid and base 40 mm in diameter; central section 35 mm in diameter
Materials: Tiger skin golden sandalwood, bamboo
Finish: Fine polished, smooth surface
Closure: Removable top cap

This enclosure is sized for small singing insects like bamboo crickets, not larger katydids. It sits comfortably in the palm of your hand, and its compact form makes it easy to display on a shelf or desk.

Occasions:
- Daily observation of small insects
- A thoughtful gift for nature enthusiasts
- Display as a handcrafted decorative object
- Quiet moments of appreciation for natural materials

Care:
- Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust
- Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight
- Store in a cool, dry place when not in use

Handmade note: As a handcrafted piece, slight variations in grain and tone are natural and add to its character.
