This headwear piece is a single-layer surgical-style cap, also known as a scrub cap, built from pure cotton 8-ounce fine-weave canvas (8 oz cotton canvas). The cap is constructed with a rounded, domed crown formed from gathered panels, creating soft pleats and folds that radiate from the top center toward the lower edge. The crown carries moderate volume, giving the cap a gently puffed, rounded silhouette that follows the head shape while leaving room for hair beneath. The lower edge of the cap is finished with a smooth grey fabric binding that wraps and encloses the raw hem, providing a clean, controlled edge and a visible contrast band against the lighter print. Small flat fabric ties extend from the rear edge on both sides, allowing the cap to be secured and adjusted at the back. A lace-edged trim can also be added to this edge as an optional detail on the bound opening.
