This preserved Bathynomus Giganteus specimen is presented as a scientific display piece, housed under a clear glass dome on a wooden base. The giant isopod’s segmented exoskeleton ranges from creamy white to light beige, with a matte finish on the dorsal plates and a subtle gloss on the ventral appendages, creating a natural, museum-quality look.

The specimen’s thorax and abdomen show clear segmentation, with multiple pairs of jointed legs and prominent antennae at the front. The rear ends in a fan-like tail structure made of uropods. Inside the dome, a slender metal stand holds the creature upright in an anatomically correct pose, with small supports near the legs and torso to keep the limbs naturally spread. A brass plate on the base is engraved with “Bathynomus Giganteus” and framed by decorative dotted borders.
