This taro-purple plant-dyed cloth is a handwoven cotton "earth cloth" with a soft, dusty lilac tone and a fully matte surface. Dyed with botanical pigments over a rustic homespun weave, it carries mottled tonal depth, gentle creasing, and a relaxed, unstructured drape. Its hand-loom character shows in the slubs, dark flecks, and visible warp-and-weft grid.
