This is a Franklin-size bi-fold ring binder planner designed to the FC 108 Franklin format, meaning it accepts inserts measuring 108 by 171 millimeters. The exterior is crafted from Haas Barenia leather in the Bahia black shade, a deep, near-black brown-black with a soft, naturally grained surface that shows faint natural pebbling, subtle tonal variation, and a gentle satin sheen rather than a high gloss. The corners are cut in a restrained rectangular geometry with softly eased edges, giving the closed cover a slim, book-like profile, and the perimeter is finished with warm orange-tan contrast saddle stitching executed by hand, with double-sided pricking producing even, dense, slanted stitches set a consistent distance from the edge. Edges are burnished and sealed smooth, with no raw leather fibers visible, and the layered construction reads cleanly from every side.
On the fore-edge, a compact pen loop made from the same coral-orange Arizona leather secures a writing instrument, and the loop shows fine, tight stitching with a smooth, folded, sealed edge. A flat black grosgrain ribbon bookmark extends from the head of the cover, emerging through the top of the spine area and terminating in a narrow, clean-cut tail. From the closed side view, the bi-fold construction wraps a rounded, U-shaped spine, with the black outer leather shell curving over a coral-orange inner lining, and the orange leather forming a continuous inner layer visible at the spine mouth and along the bottom edge.
