A closer look
This is a handmade scrub-style surgical cap, cut in a full bouffant silhouette with a rounded, generously gathered crown designed to accommodate long hair. The cap sits high on the forehead with a clean, bound lower edge and swells outward and backward into a roomy pouch that gathers toward the nape, creating soft vertical ruching and pleats where the fabric is drawn in. Two closure treatments are shown across the pieces: flat woven tie ribbons that knot at the back, and an elastic drawcord threaded through the gathered casing and finished with a small clear plastic cord stopper that slides to tighten the fit.
The construction is single-layer throughout, with no integrated padded sweatband sewn into the inner edge; the hem is instead finished with a folded fabric binding, seen here in two colorways, a solid jet black band and a muted dusty rose band, both topstitched evenly along the fold with visible straight machine stitching. The tie ribbons match their respective bindings, one pair in flat black and one in dusty pink, each carrying a row of contrasting white topstitching down the length of the strap. The gathered back panel shows dense, even gathering along the casing channel, with the print distorting softly through the folds.
The fabric is a 100% pure cotton soft canvas, a matte, medium-weight woven with a fine, regular over-under weave clearly visible at close range. The cotton construction is specified as breathable and sweat-absorbing, helping prevent heat buildup and skin irritation during long wear, particularly suited to oily scalps. The surface is flat and non-reflective with no coating or sheen, holding crisp folds at the crown while still draping softly at the gathers.
The print is an all-over repeating novelty pattern set on a white base washed with irregular blush-pink cloud and tie-dye blotches that shift from pale ivory to a saturated rose pink. Scattered across it are cartoon feline characters rendered in bold black line art with white fills, each wearing pink bows, pink dresses, or black hooded outfits, and posed holding accessories such as a pink camera, a pink smartphone, and a small pink handbag. Interspersed between the figures are solid black five-pointed stars, tiny four-point sparkles, and small black script lettering that reads "Black pink kitty," repeated throughout the pattern. Print placement is random and continuous, with motifs wrapping over the seams
