This is a handmade-style scrub cap designed for use in clinical settings such as operating rooms, featuring an all-over color-block cartoon cat print. The base fabric is a pure cotton textile with a soft, matte, plain-weave surface that reads as breathable and absorbent, supporting comfort during long wear by wicking sweat and reducing heat buildup. The print covers the entire crown and band without a repeating grid, so cats appear at varied scales and rotations across the surface, giving it a playful, whimsical character.
The cat illustrations are rendered in a flat, mid-century-modern storybook style with simple geometric bodies, thin black outline details, and a warm retro palette. Individual cats appear in coral pink, mustard yellow, deep teal green, chocolate brown, warm gray, and cream white, each decorated with distinct patterning such as horizontal stripes, scattered polka dots, small five-petal flower motifs, dotted whiskers, closed sleepy eyes, and wide smiling faces. Some cats are filled solid color while others are drawn as open line-art figures on the white ground, creating contrast between color-blocked and outlined forms.
In construction, the cap uses a gathered crown with soft pleating that gives full, rounded volume over the head, with the fabric bunching into an elasticized rear channel. At the back there is a drawstring closure fitted with a clear, translucent pig-nose style cord lock (toggle) threaded with a flat white ribbon-like drawcord, allowing the wearer to tighten or loosen the fit. The rear view shows the gathered fabric converging into this toggle channel, forming a rounded, balloon-like silhouette, while the front edge sits as a smooth, straight, clean-finished band across the forehead.
The cap is built in a double-layer construction with an integrated padded sweatband lining, adding structure, softness, and extra moisture absorption along the hairline. Edges appear neatly finished with even, tight stitching and no raw seams visible, and the fabric shows a smooth, uniform surface with a soft cotton drape and gentle natural creasing rather than any sheen or coating.
Sizing is specified to fit head circumferences from 55 to 62 cm with no pressure or tightness, and the cap band is widened in design to extend the fit range to 63 to 64 cm. The overall design pairs the practicality of a secure, adjustable surgical cap with a cheerful, feminine cat motif, making it a distinctive alternative to plain disposable-style medical headwear.
