A closer look
This decorative crystal bonsai composition is presented as a hand-assembled miniature landscape built from natural mineral specimens and dried botanical elements, arranged in a large wide ceramic basin. The centerpiece is a substantial citrine crystal cluster, a dense mound of interlocking yellow-gold quartz points radiating in many directions, with translucent to milky termination facets, honey-amber to pale champagne color gradients, and naturally rough crystalline surface textures. The individual crystal points vary in length and girth, tapering to sharp geometric pyramidal terminations with flat tabular faces, and the cluster displays fine internal veining, cloudy inclusions, and faint brownish-orange iron staining between the blades that reinforces its natural mineral character.
The two dominant mineral pieces are described as free of broken tips and highly lustrous, and the visual evidence supports this: the citrine cluster shows brightly reflective, glassy terminated faces with strong specular highlights, and both major specimens retain complete, intact crystal terminations without chipped or damaged branches. Alongside the citrine, the arrangement incorporates small Brazilian clear quartz crystal points, which appear as water-clear to milky-white hexagonal prisms with naturally frosted side faces and glassy polished-looking termination planes. These smaller quartz pieces are distributed in a foreground grouping, standing and lying at varied angles among the black gravel fill, creating a strong color and transparency contrast against the warm yellow of the citrine mass.
A third mineral element is a dark, sharply triangular specimen of black schorl, commonly known as black tourmaline, presented in the "black warrior" feather variety described for this piece. It has a jagged, deeply ridged and striated surface with vertical fibrous striations running from base to apex
