A paper insert and black divider sit on the rings, and a slim pen clips into the loop without bulk.

A closer look
This is a handmade leather personal-size ring binder notebook cover designed as a two-fold foldover model, finished in a refined two-tone palette. The exterior is crafted from Barenia leather in an eboney or deep dark-brown shade, exhibiting a soft matte sheen with a very fine, closely spaced natural grain and subtle tonal variation where light grazes the surface. The interior and pocket components are executed in Sully leather in a milkshake white tone, presenting a warmer, lighter ivory-cream appearance with a similar fine pebbled texture. The two leathers meet in a clean, deliberate contrast that defines both the outer face and the inner organization panels.
The outer cover carries a vertical black elastic closure band running the full height of the front panel, slightly offset toward the fore-edge, and a matching black elastic pen loop sewn into the right edge. The stitching throughout is hand-executed saddle stitching in a contrasting off-white or cream thread, applied with double-sided pricking, so the stitch line is visible and even on both faces of every panel; the stitch length is regular, the thread sits slightly proud of the leather surface, and the stitch line follows the cover perimeter and every pocket edge at a consistent margin. All cut edges are finished with edge paint sealing, producing a smooth, sealed, slightly built-up dark edge that hides the leather's raw fibers and follows the rounded corners and the long folded spine edge without gaps.
The structure includes an integrated pen holder in matching Barenia leather, a flat front cover panel with a curved diagonal accent seam that runs from the upper-left corner down toward the spine in a gentle sweeping line, and a horizontal elastic band holding the pen securely. The notebook opens flat to reveal the ring mechanism: a Krause black binder hardware set with twenty rings in a 20 mm diameter specification, mounted on a leather spine panel. The rings are finished in a deep black coating, are hinged at two points along the spine, and bear a small embossed maker's marking on the metal plate between the ring columns.
Inside, the left panel carries a stacked pocket configuration: a full-height pocket in Sully milkshake white with two horizontal dark Barenia leather accent bands running across its upper portion, plus a transparent photo window pocket at the lower section that currently holds an image of a long-haired white cat with the script word "Ozzy" written across it. The right panel features a large full-height pocket in Sully milkshake white, stitched with the same cream saddle stitching and displaying a black line-art illustration of a group of stylized cartoon characters rendered in fine black linework, contrasting against the pale leather. The interior leather panels are cut with rounded corners and finished edges, and a slim black ribbon bookmark extends from the top of the spine to mark a page.
The included refills comprise a plain cream or off-white paper insert held on the rings, plus a black plastic page divider or separator with a tabbed lower corner, and a black elastic band closure system that ties the notebook shut. A beige or tan-bodied pen with a chrome-finished conical tip is shown clipped into the leather pen loop, illustrating the loop's fit around a standard slim pen barrel.
