This is a handmade bifold leather planner cover designed in the M5 format with a stated width of 67 mm, crafted in a deep milk-chocolate to near-ebony dark brown exterior. The outer leather is identified as HAAS Barenia in an ebony shade, presenting a very fine, smooth, close-grained surface with a soft satin sheen that catches light in broad, even highlights rather than sharp specular points, and displays subtle natural tonal variation ranging from warm chocolate undertones in lit areas to near-black in the fold shadows. The entire perimeter of the cover is finished with a continuous row of bright white hand stitching that sits proud of the leather surface, creating a crisp graphic border against the dark hide; the stitch length is uniform and the thread lays at a consistent diagonal, characteristic of saddle stitching worked from both sides, with the pricking marks and holes made by hand from each face of the leather before sewing. All exposed edges are painted and sealed with edge oil, leaving a dark, slightly rounded, smooth, sealed lip rather than a raw or burnished-grain finish, and the corners are cut and rounded consistently.
A wide black grosgrain ribbon band, with a clearly visible woven ribbed texture and a dense twill-like weave structure, wraps around the cover vertically and serves as the closure. The interior is lined in a contrasting Sully goat leather in a milk-shake white tone, showing a fine, soft, slightly pebbled or shrunken grain with a matte to low-satin surface that reads as creamy off-white.
